Your information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information LivedIt may collect when people make AMA identity cards, submit questions, publish answers, or otherwise use the service.

Last updated: September 12, 2026

Information we handle

Information you give us can include account details such as your name, email address, and profile image; the text and details in an AMA card; questions, answers, and other messages you choose to submit; and communications you send to our team.

We may also receive basic technical and usage information from your browser or device, such as IP address, browser type, pages or features used, timestamps, and error or performance information. If analytics or similar tools are enabled, they may use cookies or comparable technologies to understand how the service is used.

What becomes public

An AMA card is public when a host makes it available. Its headline, context, and published answers can be visible to anyone who visits LivedIt and may be indexed, shared, copied, or discussed elsewhere.

A newly submitted question is sent privately to the host. It is not shown on the host’s public AMA page unless the host chooses to answer and publish it. Publishing an answer makes the associated question and answer public. Do not submit information you would not want the host to see.

How we use information

  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve LivedIt and its community features.
  • Create and administer accounts, AMA cards, questions, and published answers.
  • Send service-related notices, including host question alerts when the product is configured to do so.
  • Investigate abuse, enforce our policies, protect people and the service, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • Understand aggregate product usage and troubleshoot errors or reliability issues.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that help host, authenticate, operate, analyze, support, or secure LivedIt, but only as needed for their services. LivedIt is built and hosted using third-party infrastructure and platform services, including MadeThis and related hosting providers.

We may also disclose information when we reasonably believe it is needed to protect users, investigate a violation, comply with law, respond to a valid legal process, or address a merger, acquisition, financing, or similar business transaction.

Choices, retention, and security

You can avoid providing optional information, choose what you submit, and contact us about your account or privacy questions. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and meet legal or operational needs. We do not promise that every copy of content or account data can be deleted on a particular timetable.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. We use reasonable efforts to protect the service, but you use LivedIt with that limitation in mind and should protect your own account credentials.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as LivedIt changes. We will post the updated version here and change the date at the top. Questions or requests about this policy can be sent to team@lived-it.com.
