How we show up
Community Guidelines
LivedIt works when curiosity is specific, respectful, and grounded in a real desire to understand another person’s life.
Last updated: September 12, 2026
Lead with curiosity
Ask questions that invite a person to share what they have lived. Be direct without being demeaning. Assume there is a human being on the other side of the card, not a character, a stereotype, or an argument to win.
Respect the host’s boundaries
Questions arrive privately to the host, and a host decides what to answer and what to publish. A lack of response is an answer in itself. Do not pressure, stalk, repeatedly contact, or try to identify someone beyond the information they chose to make public.
Keep it human
- Talk about experiences without attacking a person or group.
- Avoid assumptions about identity, work, family, health, income, or background.
- Do not share someone else’s private or sensitive information.
- Challenge ideas with care; do not bait, harass, intimidate, or humiliate.
- Remember that hosts can speak only for themselves, not everyone with a similar identity or job.
Publish with care
Hosts should answer in their own voice, avoid presenting speculation as fact, and consider the privacy and safety of people mentioned in a response. Do not use an AMA card or answer to impersonate someone, promote a scam, or expose another person.
Reporting concerns
If you see content or conduct that may violate these Guidelines or our Content Policy, email team@lived-it.com with a link or clear description of the concern. We may review reports and take action, but we cannot promise a particular outcome or response time.
